What Next For UI?


With the implementation of each UI element for the core interactions, the question I ask myself is what's next? The answer to that question is implementing the functionality for saving. How I envision the game to work is that the player will be able to save their progress if they would like to return to the game at a later date. For example, I know this might be very self explanatory, but if you, the player, are on night two and would like to save your progress so you could continue another time, that will be possible. If I were to play a game, I would personally like to save my progress so if I want to play it later I can. Other than the implementation of the save file, I would also like to add the options menu to allow the player to modify their keybinds and other visual /  audio related settings.
